Glimpse About Me:A Designer based on the Highway of Bangalore, Karnataka. On this page you will find out a bit more about my skills, experience, and me!!
My Experience: I began my career in 1992 by starting my own printing unit "Graphique Desyns". I took off with this job because I simply was fascinated by the impressions created by the silk & rubber combination!. The job was pretty good and I ended up doing a mix of Prints, Computers and Type setting. During this time, I went to college a lot. After this I took up my printing business seriously and was sticking to it for almost upto 4 years. This taught me a lot about design and print and gave me a solid understanding to help progress my career. Since then I have worked for a three other comapnies as a Front End Visualiser and now work as a Creative Art Director for a company in Bangalore.
My Skills: I have expert knowledge of Typography, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator (Partial Exposure), Adobe Flash (Partial Exposure), Adobe Acrobat, Corel Draw, Microsoft Office, Sound Forge (Partial Exposure), Fruity Loops (Partial Exposure), Ulead Video Studio, Adobe Premiere (Partial Exposure), Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Dreamweaver and some small programs for sound and video editing. Experience of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & CorelDraw
Hobbies & Interests: I am a keen amateur photographer. I use a SONY DSC-H7 with Carl-Zeiss Mark II lens. I am a rider too on roads. I am a proud owner of 2 classic bikes, An ADRENO and a ROADKING. I also like to see my family and friends, watch the occasional Snooker/Billiards match and watch the Formula 1 on TV. Other than that, work keeps me quite busy and I am currently learning how to write Actionscript in Flash, jsp & php to mix design and development to create interactive online content.
Who, What, Where When!!!
The Who & The What: I’m Bhaskar, a design author and brands designer. I create visual identities for companies of all sizes, from Yellow Pages to one-person start-ups. I’ve helped clients in designing their logos, brochures, magazines, websites, marketing collaterals, emailers and many other campaigns across the industry.
Although I work from my home office, I have a strong network of contacts in the design scene, from whom I continue to learn a great deal. You can see a selection of brandmarks in my graphic design portfolio.

Overlooking the South-side of Bangalore, image via Yeshwanthpur/Malleswaram. I’ve been fortunate to spend time traveling, be it catching a train journey, backpacking or working in. For now you’ll find me developing skills over Java & 3D.The When:
- 1976: Born in HMT Colony, Bangalore, 46 KMS from International Airport.
- 1992: After many turbulances & R&Ds, I began my formal Print Production Unit.
- 1997: Hitech Enterprises, Peenya hired me for DTP.
- 1999: Microbyte Laser Graphics, Peenya hired me as Graphic Designer.
- 2001: Foretell Business Solutions P Ltd. Indiranagar, hired me as Graphic Designer for Magazines.
- 2008: REBI, Indiaranagar, hired me as Creative Art Director for In-House Design & Development.
- 2010: Ironically, I hired me for myself [;)] into service industry for "DigitalBlood".
